30m Explorer

A 30m (98'5") design we termed the 'e30' - (the e stands for 'escape'). The design brief was simple; to create a rugged world explorer Motoryacht that is second to none in it's seakeeping abilities, can be easily handled by it's owners alone, and it's inherent attributes make the yacht extremely efficient and safe as possible without needing to be technically complicated.

    The e30 is a Motoryacht based on a Sailboat hullform. Using a hybrid drive system the yacht can zero-emission cruise in environmentally sensitive regions running on batteries alone. For long distance passages two small sails help to further reduce fuel consumption of the main diesel engines. The design incorporates a reduced radar cross section and integrates solar panels into the superstructure. Constructed in Aluminium it's natural resistance to corrosion means the yacht can be left unpainted. The design is self-righting and can be beached owing to it's shallow draft and twin skegs.
