50m Cat
The Cat 50m (164') evolved due to a client request to develop a more voluminous version of our 50m monohull axebow. Essentially we 'cut' our 50m monohull down the middle, made her wider and developed asymmetrical hulls forming into a high tunnel. The Cat 50 has an overall beam 5.5m (18') wider than our 50m mono, yet shares the same profile and technical DNA.
"Using the advantages of a Cat hull design, we have created a yacht with the accomodation equivalent to a 65m mono with the ability to be docked with smaller yachts." - SB

SABDES Cat 50 : VIEW IMAGE GALLERY (4)
The 13.5m (44'4") beam allows guest accomodations to all be placed on the main deck, with owners and a VIP suite on the upper deck. The upper sundeck can be fully enclosed and alternative useage proposed. By having asymmetrical hulls for the Cat 50, there is more curved hull form fwd which also greatly improves Catamaran hull aesthetics by reducing the 'block look' seen in conventional hulled Catamaran yachts. Special featues are a 5m horizon pool aft on the main deck, and a glass viewing window in the floor of the main salon looking down to the water (with lighting at night to attract the fish).
