Cat 50
The Cat 50 evolved due to us considering developing a longer version of our 50m axebow - instead we decided to make a wider version. Essentially we 'cut' our 50m mono down the middle and developed inboard sections of the assymmetrical hulls that form into the tunnel. Optional foils to lower hull resistance and improve ride could be added pending tank testing. The Cat 50 has an overall beam 5.5 metres wider than the 50m mono, yet shares the same profile and technical attributes. Using the advantages of a Cat hull design, we have created a yacht with the accomodation equivalent to a 65m mono with the ability to be docked where 50m yachts can.

The 13.5m beam allows guest accomodations to be placed on the main deck, with owners and VIP on the upper deck. The upper sundeck can be fully enclosed and alternative useage proposed. By having assymmetrical hulls for the Cat 50, there is more curved hull form fwd which has greatly improved aesthetics by reducing the 'block look' seen in conventional hulled Cat yachts.
